MDCACP Officer of the Month: Sergeant Pete Guevara

This past week, the Miami-Dade County Association of Chiefs of Police (MDCACP) held its first monthly dinner event since last year. At that event, our very own Sergeant Pete Guevara was honored as the MDCACP Officer of the Month for May as the result of his follow-up work with the recent hit and run homicide case on the City of Miami portion of the JFK Causeway. Sergeant Guevara’s efforts with that investigation led to the identification of the vehicle and the arrest of the individual responsible for that horrific and tragic incident.
