Important Notice: Utility Billing and Payment Processing Fees

Dear Residents and Customers,

North Bay Village recently updated its payment processing procedures. As part of this change, the Village no longer absorbs credit card processing fees. These fees are now the responsibility of the customer when making payments by credit card.

We understand that this change may be an inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. To help residents minimize or avoid additional fees, the Village offers the following payment options:

1. Automatic Bank Draft (ACH) – NO FEE

Utility billing customers can avoid payment processing fees entirely by enrolling in automatic bank draft. Payments will be automatically deducted from your designated bank account.

2. Electronic Check (eCheck) – $1.95 per Transaction

Customers may make payments electronically using their bank account information for a flat processing fee of $1.95 per transaction.

3. Credit Card Payments – Processing Fee Applies

Credit card payments remain available; however, the applicable processing fee will be charged to the customer at the time of payment.

4. Pay by Check – In Person or by Mail (NO FEE)

Residents and customers may pay their utility bills by check in person or by mail, with no additional processing fees.

In-Person Payments: Checks may be submitted at North Bay Village Hall, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding Village holidays.

Payments by Mail: Checks may also be mailed to the address below. Please include your utility account number on the check to ensure proper payment processing.

I hereby authorize North Bay Village to initiate debit entries from the checking or savings account listed below. I understand that I control my outstanding Utility payments. If, at any time, I decide to discontinue this service, I will notify North Bay Village in writing (minimum 2 weeks prior to debit date) giving reasonable opportunity to act on it. If a new owner files a Property Transfer Affidavit, I understand and acknowledge that the ACH transaction will automatically cease. I acknowledge and agree that a NSF fee of $40.00 shall be charged in the event funds are insufficient to pay the full amount due at the time of withdrawal. If North Bay Village receives two (2) non-sufficient fund notices from the bank in any twelve (12) month period, the customer will be notified by North Bay Village of the NSF notices and the account will be removed from the automatic bill payment process for paying North Bay Village Utility bill.

Utility Drop Off box is located outside the main floor of the building located at 1666 Kennedy Causeway. Utility payments can be dropped off 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Residents can apply for passports and/or passport cards at Village Hall by appointment only.

Post Office

STARTING ON MAY 2nd POST OFFICE HOURS WILL BE MONDAY-FRIDAY 8:30AM-2:30PM AND OPEN FOR LUNCH.

The North Bay Village operates a contract post office station inside the Village Hall office at 1666 Kennedy Causeway, Suite 101, North Bay Village, Florida 33141.

The station offers nearly all services provided by a U.S. Post Office including postage, money orders, the mailing of letters and parcels up to 20 lbs.

The station accepts cash, personal checks, and credit cards (with proper identification).
