Installation of speed humps on Harbor Island and North Bay Island is scheduled to begin Monday, May 2, and is anticipated to be completed by May 31.

Speed humps will be installed at the approaches on the four recently restriped crosswalks on Harbor Island. Three (3) speed humps will be installed along each of the residential streets on North Bay Island (Miami View, Beach View, Coquina Drive, and Center Bay Drive). Traffic will remain open during work activities.

The Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) required to install the speed humps will consist of the shutdown of one lane in the work area, with the use of barricades/cones to direct traffic around the work area.
