North Bay Village Mayor re-elected to the Board of the Florida League of Mayors

North Bay Village, FL – The Florida League of Mayors (FLM) provides mayors across Florida the chance to delve into areas of mutual concern and opportunity in their communities.

North Bay Village Mayor Brent Latham has been re-elected to the Board of the Florida League of Mayors for a two-year term running from August 2022- August 2024.

In April of 2022 Mayor Brent Latham was a recipient of the Home Rule Hero Award, being recognized for encouraging local voices making local choices, protecting Home Rule powers of Florida’s municipalities and progressing the League’s legislative agenda.

“It’s my honor and privilege to be chosen by my fellow Florida mayors to continue to represent the citizens of North Bay Village and the State of Florida, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida League of Mayors,” said Latham. “Sharing experiences and problem-solving solutions with mayors from throughout Florida as part of the League of Mayors board has been a core component of my ability to serve our constituents.”

The FLM believes that mayors are viewed as key political leaders in their communities and the league provides members with networking opportunities as well as quality educational programs to help Florida’s mayors best serve the public.
