On Monday, July 31st, the students at KLA Schools of North Bay Village had a great day getting to learn about our city and meeting Village officials! The preschool students got to meet our Mayor, Brent Latham, along with our Legislative Aide, Chris Molina. Mayor Latham joined the students as they showed him how much they had learned about our Village and all the great things about it. Topping off the event, the pre school students surprised Mayor Latham with a book they had illustrated and made themselves showcasing all the beauty of North Bay Village and even included a portrait of the Mayor himself (booklet can be found below)! Mayor Latham had an incredible time connecting with the students and staff, teaching the children who the Mayor is and what he does. The fun day unfortunately drew to a close, but not before the children received gifts of North Bay Village lunch boxes and reusable water bottles on behalf of the Village and the Mayor. The Village is overwhelmingly grateful for the opportunity to visit and for the hospitality we received! We look forward to more good times with KLA and all our schools in the future!
