FDOT ongoing construction may cause possible disruptions or lane closures

FDOT is renovating both the West 79th Street & East 79th Street drawbridges. Crews are repairing major structural, mechanical, and electrical bridge components. There will be ongoing mechanical work from Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4. Drivers, please be mindful of possible disruptions or lane closures. The project is expected to be completed in Fall 2024.
