• Sign up for our NBV Emergency Alert system by visiting bit.ly/alertnbv
• Visit the County’s Hurricane website for additional information to learn what to do before, during and after a storm, and to sign up for the County’s emergency alerts – http://miamidade.gov/hurricane

• Prepare your emergency kit with non-perishable food, water, and other necessities to last for 3-7 days
• Make sure your yard, trees, and shrubs are well maintained to avoid any damages they may cause during a storm
