The multi-million-dollar investment in a world class soccer training center, athletic facilities and community center in our city have been approved by the AFA Board, following North Bay Village Commission approval earlier this year.
AFA President Claudio Tapia is eager to see a world class project that will be “an example for the world” of partnership between a football federation and a governmental entity.
And some news: the facility would potentially host a museum of Argentine Football, bringing more attention and renown to our city, known as the “Heart of the Bay.”
We are working on the structure with the Miami-Dade School Board, which is proving a great partner, and some other final details.
This amazing project is closer than ever! It’s going to be a remarkable addition for the recreation of our families and residents and also for Miami-Dade’s growing soccer infrastructure.

La inversión multi-millionario en un centro de alto rindimiento, un centro para la comunidad, y canchas deportivas en nuestra ciudad ha sido aprobado por la junta directiva de AFA, después de que la Comisión de North Bay Village lo aprobó hace unos meses.
El presidente de la Federación Claudio Tapia expone que al proyecto será un “ejemplo para el mundo” en cuanto a la colaboración entre una Federación de fútbol y una entidad del gobierno.
Además, potnwtialmente albergará un museo de fútbol argentino, trayendo consigo más atención y renombre para nuestra ciudad – “El Corazón de La Bahia”.
Actualmente nos encontramos trabajando la estructura de la inversión con nuestros colegas del la Junta Escolar de Miami-Dade, junto con algunos otros detalles finales.
Este proyecto se acerca ya! Será una adición notable para las familias y residentes de la comunidad, tanto como para la infraestructura de fútbol del condado de Miami-Dade!
