Construction on the Island Walk North Plaza begins

Our #NBV broke ground to kick-off the start of the project. What an exciting time for our Village!

The Island Walk project will provide waterfront access and stunning views of the “Heart of the Bay to the public through pedestrian walkways along the northern boundaries of Treasure Island and at key locations on Harbor Island.

In 2019, the Village completed the Island Walk South Plaza, located next to Grandview Palace Condominium. The Island Walk North Plaza is located next to the Bridgewater Condominium and is expected to be completed by summer 2024.

This project was funded by the FL Department of Transportation, the FL Inland Navigation District (FIND), and NBV. Thank you to Senator Shevrin ‘Shev’ Jones (D), Rep. Fabian Basabe (R), and FIND Commissioner Spencer Crowley for supporting this project.
