Temporary Water Discoloration on South Treasure Drive

NBV Public Works crews have recently turned off and on a water main, which has stirred up the water in some areas on the east side of South Treasure Drive.

If you live on the east side of South Treasure Drive, including Mutiny Avenue, Hispanola Avenue, and Cutlass Avenue – both in multi-family buildings and single-family homes – you may be experiencing some cloudy or discolored water coming from your taps.

To clear this up, we recommend that all households in the affected area open up all water sources in your home – run your faucets, showers, etc. – for several minutes until the water runs clear again.

This should help flush out any sediment that was stirred up in the water main work. The discoloration is not harmful, but we want to make sure you have clear, high-quality water flowing through your pipes.
