North Bay Village Vice Mayor Marvin Wilmoth, alongside other local leaders, met with officials from Miami-Dade County on Friday afternoon to talk about the future of NBV.
Livability is top priority for Wilmoth, and it’s a major pillar for NBV100.
The NBV100 Master Plan aims to give North Bay Village the tools to become more livable and sustainable.
Wilmoth sat down with officials from Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine-Cava’s office to explore ways to ensure the Village stays a diverse and affordable community to live in.
The Vice Mayor is calling for resources available through the County that will assist homeowners, so they can live here affordably.
In addition to that, he’s asking for affordable housing options for teachers, local law enforcement and other public servants in the community.
