North Bay Village Announces $3,000 in STEM Scholarships for High School Seniors

North Bay Village is proud to announce the availability of three $1,000 scholarships for NBV high school seniors pursuing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) degrees at the college level.
These scholarships are made possible through the fundraising efforts of Vice Mayor Goran Cuk and his technology initiatives in the community. North Bay Village is partnering with the Miami Foundation and the College Assistance Program to administer these opportunities.
Eligibility Requirements:
-Must be a North Bay Village resident
-Must be a graduating high school senior
-Must be pursuing a degree in a STEM field
-Must be planning to attend an accredited college or university
-Funds can only be used for undergraduate level studies
Application Process:
Applicants must apply through the Miami Foundation’s scholarship portal:
1. Go to miamifoundation.org/scholarships
2. Click on ‘Apply via Scholarship Portal’ on the right-hand side of the screen
3. Register for an account
4. Once registered, click on ‘2023 College Assistance Program (CAP, Inc.) Scholarship’
5. Complete the application in full
Please note: The Foundation will not accept mailed, faxed, or emailed applications. Review your application carefully and ensure that it is filled out completely.
Important Deadline! Applications must be submitted online by Friday, May 23rd.
