Mayor Latham appointed to the 2021-2022 FLC Advocacy Committee

We have another seat at the table to advocate for NBV statewide! 🎉

We are pleased to announce Mayor Brent Latham was appointed to the 2021-2022 Florida League of Cities Advocacy Committee.

The Advocacy Committee is responsible for building support amongst the League membership and the Legislature for the legislative priorities adopted by the membership of the Florida League of Cities.

“To effect change on state-controlled issues that matter to NBV, like Short Term Vacation Rentals and maintaining an orderly and pristine Bay, we need to be front in center in the state capitol, where these issues are decided,” stated Mayor Latham. “Working on the Florida League of Cities Advocacy Committee will help me bring the voice of North Bay Village citizens directly to our state legislators in Tallahassee.”
