CITT Ambassadors are transit riders who volunteer to regularly share their experiences and observations of using transit with CITT via an app in exchange for rewards.
Additionally, they receive rewards for sharing CITT messaging on their social media platforms. Volunteers also participate in CITT customer focus groups to help the CITT, the Department of Transportation & Public Works (DTPW), and municipalities learn how well a service is performing, provide feedback on new services, and more.
CITT Ambassadors are committed to helping improve transit services in Miami-Dade County. This role allows them to focus mainly on reporting their observations, providing feedback, making suggestions and sharing social media messaging in exchange for rewards that are integrated in an app. They are not required to interact with other riders or transit personnel to serve as a CITT Ambassador.
