Police Lieutenant, James McCready
Police Lieutenant James McCready has been serving with the North Bay Village Police for over 35 years. During his career he has been assigned to every Division of the agency and served in a variety of capacities including: Field Operations, Support Services, Internal Affairs, and Criminal Investigations. He helped established the Police Department’s Field Training Program, Underwater Recovery Team, Crime Scene Unit, Citizen’s Crime Watch and School Resource Officer Program. He currently is the Vice-Chair of The Florida FOP Labor Council, and an active member in both the Dade County Chief of Police Association and the International Association of Chief of Police. During his distinguished career with the Village, Lieutenant McCready has been the recipient of many awards and commendations including multiple Life-Saving Awards, Miami Dade County Officer of the Year Finalist, North Bay Village Officer of the Year, Purple Heart, and the Medal of Valor.

Police Lieutenant Brian Collins
Police Lieutenant Brian Collins joined the North Bay Village Police Department on August 10, 1990. Prior to joining the Police Department, Lt. Collins worked as a Corrections Officer for the State of Florida. During his distinguished 33 year career with the Village, Lieutenant Collins has served the Agency in various capacities, contributed to countless Organizational accomplishments and has been recognized for his contributions on numerous occasions. Lieutenant Collins has served as a uniform patrol officer, police sergeant, and in marine patrol. His current assignment is Field Services Lieutenant. Lieutenant Collins is committed to those he serves and the organization.
