Development of Village Hall and Fire Rescue Station

For 13 years, NBV has been the only Miami-Dade city without a village hall, undergoing at least 5 moves and incurring approximately $4 million in rent, relocation, and demolition costs. With its purchase of the Sakura property for $2.7 million in 2018, the Village began a process to finally find a permanent home and accommodate a Miami-Dade Fire-Rescue Station meant to save the lives and homes of our residents for decades to come. The nearby Fire Rescue Station at Pelican Harbor will be relocating to the North Miami area within the next 2-3 years, making this planning for the future essential.
