Curb appeal public art installation begins on Harbor Island

Curb appeal public art installation begins on Harbor Island Residents will soon see multiple bulb-outs throughout Harbor Island painted with bright colors as part of the Village’s curb appeal public art project!

North Bay Village hired a local artist to beautify and enhance the curbs by adding environmentally focused artwork.

Murals will be painted over the next few weeks, the first completed Thursday near the entrance to Civic Park.

The project is being done by artist HOPE Murals, Inc., a non-profit nonprofit organization established by artist German DuBois and four other entity board members. Mayor Brent Latham and Vice Mayor Wilmoth supported this effort, in addition to public input from the Mayor’s Heart of the Bay Task Force.

This initiative reflects the NBV100 Pillars of Resilience and Livability.
