Community Advisory: Auto Thefts

On Saturday, September 25, 2021, two motor vehicles were reported stolen from the 7900 block of West Drive in North Bay Village. One of the vehicles, a 2012 white Infinity, has already been recovered in the City of Miramar, Florida. Investigators are still actively searching for the second vehicle, a 2020 silver Toyota Corolla.

 

As part of the North Bay Village Police Department’s continuing effort to provide a safe and secure environment, we remind our residents that safety and security are shared responsibilities.

 

Valuable tips:

Park your vehicle in a well-lit area

Always keep your doors locked

Avoid leaving valuables in plain view of others

Remove your keys from the vehicle

Install a tracking system

Report any suspicious activity by calling the Police Department at (305)758-2626 or, in case of emergency, 911
