After four years as the Harbor Island Commissioner, Andy Daro bids farewell to the community he has been so proud to serve. North Bay Village is a better place today because of his service, with a new Community Center, improved parks, and a new Village Hall soon to become a reality.
As Harbor Island’s voice on the dais, he fought long and hard to secure grants for the Sidewalk and Crosswalk project, with construction expected to be completed in early 2027. His vision goes further: finally completing the Island Walk and reconnecting our community to the waterfront, because the water is what connects our islands.
To Commissioner Daro’s wife and son, who joined him in this special message: thank you for sharing him with our Village and for supporting him every step of the way. Your love and sacrifice made his service possible, and we are deeply grateful.
Commissioner Daro, thank you for your steadfast dedication to Harbor Island and to every resident of North Bay Village. Your service, your passion, and your heart for this community have left a lasting mark on all of us. We wish you and your family all the best in this next chapter. 💙
