We are happy to announce that 3 NBV buildings registered for the Building Efficiency 305 (BE305) Challenge and are now part of the first BE305 cohort. The buildings are: Causeway Tower (Village Hall), 360 Condominium, and the Bridgewater Tower Condominium.
The BE305 Challenge focuses on improving building performance and reducing operational costs by providing buildings with a suite of policies and programs that increase energy and water efficiency. It was launched in January by the Miami-Dade County Office of Resilience for building owners and managers across Miami Dade County.
For building sign-ups, North Bay Village ranked No. 5 in the overall rankings and No. 1 for the number of registered buildings per capita in BE305’s first cohort. This was made possible thanks to efforts by Mayor Brent Latham, Vice Mayor Marvin Wilmoth, Commissioner Streitfeld, and NBV’s Sustainability and Resilience Task Force.
