PoopFreeNBV Community Event

Join us for a fun-filled morning dedicated to responsible pet ownership and cleaner neighborhoods!

When? Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Civic Park (located behind the dog park)

North Bay Village launched the #PoopFreeNBV Campaign as a way to educate the community on the importance of picking up after their pet and reduce the overall amount of dog waste left on the ground in the Village. Since April 2021, the Village celebrates the annual #PoopFreeNBV Week in conjunction with the nationwide “Scoop the Poop” week.

-Pet waste carries harmful bacteria and parasites

-One gram of dog waste can contain 23 million fecal coliform bacteria

-Dog waste can contaminate our waterways and harm marine life

-Picking up after your pet helps keep our community healthy and clean
