North Bay Village Goes National at Transportation Conference

North Bay Village had the honor of hosting attendees from the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) annual conference in Miami-Dade. Over 30 city planners and transportation officials from major U.S. cities participated in a special tour showcasing our Village’s transportation and sustainability initiatives.

The tour highlighted North Bay Village’s pedestrian-friendly streets, electric vehicle charging station for our Freebee service, and green spaces. Living on the water, participants witnessed how our small Village is paving the way for eco-friendly urban living that protects our coastal environment.

The tour allowed our Village staff to share best practices on the national stage while learning from other innovative municipalities. By showcasing our commitment to livable and green neighborhoods, North Bay Village reinforced its reputation as a forward-thinking leader in urban planning and design.
