The North Bay Village Police Department would like to advise the community of recent criminal activity that has occurred over the past two weeks. On September 14, 2023, at approximately 7:35 p.m., a red Ducati motorcycle was stolen from 7900 Harbor Island Drive. The two unknown males arrived in a red Dodge Caravan and gained access to the property by tailgating another vehicle into the parking garage of the building. The unknown males were then seen carying the motorcycle into the van and fled the scene.
On September 21, 2023, during the late evening hours, a 2020, black Yamaha MT09 motorcycle was stolen from 7904 West Drive. The unknown subjects, via video surveillance, were seen arriving in a black sedan (possibly a Jaguar), with a bicycle rack attached obstructing the license plate. The vehicle once again gained entry into the building by tailgating another vehicle. The video footage shows an unknown male driving out of the parking garage in the victim’s motorcycle. North Bay Village Police Department Investigators are currently working to identify the group responsible for these crimes.
