During the Village’s regular Commission meeting Tuesday night, multiple officers from the NBVPD were recognized for their mission on the Gulf Coast following Hurricane Ian.

These heroes helped aid local law enforcement and assisted victims following the devastation.

Detective Ceasar Costa, Officer Wuihudson Francois, Detective Yesiney Cabrera, Sergeant Manuel Casais, Sergeant Amy Gordon and Sergeant Peter Guevara were deployed for a weeks-long mission, along with dozens of other law enforcement agencies across Miami-Dade County.
