Swim Advisory – Miami Dade Water and Sewer

A small sewage spill occurred in Pelican Harbor Marina. Water and Sewer Department crews stopped the spill and finalized repairs over the weekend. Staff from the Department of Regulatory & Economic Resources have sampled the limited area of affected waters. Due to the sewage spill, there is a no-swim advisory effect in parts of Biscayne Bay — to include the area of Harbor Island and North Bay Island. We will be providing updates as soon as we have received an update from WASD.
