Notification of CCTV Inspection

NOTIFICATION OF CCTV INSPECTION

This communication is to notify you that North Bay Village is conducting a sanitary sewer evaluation program designed to eliminate groundwater and stormwater from entering the sanitary sewer system in your area. Cleaning and closed circuit televising (CCTV) inspections will be performed starting Thursday June 2, 2022. Work is estimated to take 2 to 4 weeks depending to weather and ability to access sewer mains and manholes

The tests will be conducted by Flotech Environmental, a local contractor. Clearly marked trucks and uniformed crew members will be onsite available to answer questions. The crew will be performing CCTV inspections of the sanitary sewer system and public sewer lateral connections in the Village’s public right-of-way. No digging or excavation will be performed throughout this inspection. To ensure the safety of the crews and road users, traffic management will be in place while this work is carried out on state roads.

The work will be completed in 5 phases in the locations indicate by the phase map. Periodic lane closures and flagman will be used to secure the work area as while activities are being performed.
