Another award for NBV! We are incredibly proud to receive the Award of Merit from the American Planning Association FL for our NBV100 Master Plan. We are the only city to receive this prestigious award in the State of Florida for a community under 50,000 residents.
Â
This award emphasizes our commitment to protect and enhance the natural and built environment of NBV.
Â
Today, Mayor Brent Latham, Vice Mayor Marvin Wilmoth, and Village Manager Ralph Rosado were joined by Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Miami-Dade County Vice-Chairman Oliver Gilbert, and Chief Bay Officer Irela Bagué in receiving our award.

About NBV100: In 2019, NBV embarked on a planning process to create a vision for the next 25 years. The NBV100 Plan includes a Form-Based Code that will transform NBV into a walkable, mixed-use community adapted to Sea Level Rise. Learn more about the plan here.Â
