North Bay Village Leaders Advocate for Community Priorities in Tallahassee

Mayor Rachel Streitfeld and Vice Mayor Goran Cuk represented North Bay Village in Tallahassee, meeting with key state legislators and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to advocate for our community’s needs.

Our leaders met with Representatives Michael Redondo, Omar Blanco, Fabian Basabe, and Vicki Lopez, as well as Senators Shevrin Jones and Jason Pizzo, focusing on crucial issues affecting NBV residents.

Their discussions centered on securing relief for condo owners facing special assessments, advocating for property insurance reform, and lobbying for our state funding opportunities and key Biscayne Bay priorities.

These meetings were vital steps in securing resources for our infrastructure needs and ensuring North Bay Village’s voice is heard at the state level.
