HURRICANE IAN UPDATES FOR RESIDENTS!

Although the worst of the storm has passed, Miami-Dade County is still under a Tropical Storm Warning.

Important Closures/Re-openings:

– SCHOOLS: Miami-Dade County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday 9/29

– PARKS: All parks in the Village will remain closed and after school activities will be paused until further notice.

– POST OFFICE: Will re-open tomorrow,

Thursday 9/29 at 10am.

– VILLAGE HALL: Will re-open tomorrow, Thursday 9/29.

NBVPD:

Marine patrol operations are expected to resume Thursday morning pending weather. We are aware of several loose boats torn from their moorings due to the impacts from the storm. We are monitoring conditions and the maritime environment.
