Newly planted Royal Palms enhance Kennedy Causeway

Driving down the Causeway in NBV, you can’t miss the stunning Royal Palm Trees just planted as part of our beautification project! These ten palms have already enhanced the look of the Causeway and provided a much-needed beauty for the Village and have already enhanced the scenery. North Bay Village applied for and successfully received a $100,000 grant from FDOT to fund this project. These funds played a crucial role, and NBV Commission and Village staff are thrilled to have the Florida Department of Transportation invest in community initiatives. NBV was ranked first in the state for the best project submitted for the FDOT Beautification Grant. Thank you to SFM Landscape Services for their role in planting the Palms. They will continue to thrive and add beauty to our community for years to come!
