NBVPD Training Exercise at Treasure Island Elementary School

The North Bay Village Police Department will be conducting their annual training exercise at Treasure Island Elementary School on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

This training involves a simulated emergency to prepare for a coordinated response in crisis situations. The NBVPD conducts this training annually. During this training, you may hear loud noises, simulated gunfire, or other concerning sounds that are part of the exercise. You may also see multiple police vehicles with emergency equipment activated. DO NOT BE ALARMED – this is a planned drill to further the skills of our first responders, ensuring that they are fully prepared for extreme emergency situations.
