NBV Commission reveals Kennedy Causeway Median Beautification Project

North Bay Village Mayor & Commissioners gathered along Kennedy Causeway to celebrate its enhanced look!

With their tall trunks and graceful fronds, the lush Royal Palms have become a signature feature of Kennedy Causeway!

Next time you’re driving through, look up at the stately Palms and get a peek at the new landscaping covering the rest of the medians.

This transformation is part of North Bay Village’s Kennedy Causeway Median Beautification Project.

North Bay Village applied for and successfully received a $100,000 grant from FDOT to fund this project. These funds played a crucial role, and NBV Commission and Village staff are thrilled to have the Florida Department of Transportation invest in community initiatives.

NBV was ranked first in the state for the best project submitted for the FDOT Beautification Grant.
