FDOT Bridge Construction Alert

Starting Monday, December 9, road crews will be working on 79th St bridge repairs that might impact your commute. Here’s what you need to know:
The western bridge will have ongoing repairs, including bridge openings that could temporarily stop traffic. Expect these disruptions for about two weeks.

Traffic impacts:
Lane closures from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Possible full stops during bridge openings
One eastbound lane will be continuously closed at the westernmost drawbridge.
