Congratulations to NBVPD Motor Officer Wuihudson Francois, who was selected as the South Florida Optimist District 7 Officer of the year for 2022-2023.

Officer Wuihudson was selected from a group of law enforcement nominees from Miami-Dade County, Broward County and Collier County. He was recognized for his outstanding performance throughout the year, which included record-setting traffic enforcement, the arrest of a homicide subject and several more significant moments during the year. Officer Wuihudson was honored and awarded at a dinner alongside his family. Thank you to NBVPD Commander Robert Jenkins, Sgt. Norlan Benitez, NRO Jessica Polanco and Officer Johnny Guante for attending the event.
