Adventure Time at Philip Schonberger Park: A Temporary Farewell for a Fantastic Future!

Philip Schonberger Park will be temporarily closing its gates starting September 6th. This closure is part of an exciting development project that will bring a new community center to our neighborhood.Demolition Paves the Way for Progress
The closure paves way for the upcoming demolition of the Public Works building next door. This marks the first step in a transformative project that promises to enhance our community’s recreational and social offerings.
What to Expect
* Closure Duration: The exact reopening date is yet to be confirmed. Rest assured that we will work diligently to minimize the closure period.
* Safety Measures: The safety of our residents is our top priority. The area around the demolition site will be securely fenced off to ensure public safety.
* Noise and Traffic: Residents on or around Galleon Street should expect some increase in noise levels and make alternative parking arrangements during the demolition phase. The north side of Galleon Street will be closed.
Alternative Recreation Options
During the closure, residents are encouraged to explore other local recreational areas:
1. Dr. Paul Vogel Park (7920 West Drive, North Bay Village, FL 33141)
2. Civic Park (7903 East Drive, North Bay Village, FL 33141)
