Active Shooter Training At TIES, Saturday, August 6th, and Sunday, August 7th, 2022, during the hours of 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.

In preparation for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year, and with the security and safety of our community being a key mission priority, your North Bay Village Police Department (NBVPD) will be conducting a Response to Active Shooter Training Program at Treasure Island Elementary School (TIES) on Saturday, August 6th, and Sunday, August 7th, 2022, during the hours of 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.

During the preparation and duration of this Live Training Program there will be an increased police presence and the potential for simulated gunfire in and around the TIES campus.

Your NBVPD is at the forefront of preparedness in meeting the continuously evolving challenges of modern community-centric policing, and this training program is yet another example of our commitment to enhancing and delivering public safety excellence.
