State lawmakers have recognized that the release of balloons filled with lighter than air gas poses a threat to the environment and wildlife.

In #NBV we know this type of legislation is necessary for the preservation and improvement of the environment, and in the best interest of the public health, safety and welfare of our residents. Violators would eventually face a $250 fine.
