At the North Bay Village June Commission Meeting, Mayor Rachel Streitfeld and the Village Commission proudly proclaimed June 29, 2026 as “Code Compliance Team Appreciation Day”, honoring the dedicated professionals who help preserve and enhance our quality of life.
Through fair and consistent enforcement of local codes, our Code Enforcement team plays a vital role in protecting public health and safety, maintaining community standards, and keeping our neighborhoods clean, safe, and well-kept.
A special congratulations to Scarlet Cid, Code Compliance Clerk, who was honored with an award for her outstanding dedication and service to the residents of North Bay Village! We’re also proud to recognize Orlando Rodriguez, Code Compliance Director, for his continued leadership and a very special thank you to our Code Compliance Office, Maria Tovar for her commitment to our community.
